Week 5 games to watch

No. 17 North Greenville at UNC Pembroke — Saturday, 1 PM. An unbeaten ranked team visits a 4-1 UNC Pembroke squad that’s receiving votes. It’s the best Conference Carolinas matchup of the season so far, and the kind of game that gets a new team ranked.

No. 20 Michigan Tech at Roosevelt — Saturday, 2 PM. Roosevelt is 4-0 and just outside the poll. Beating a ranked Michigan Tech team in Chicago would put the Lakers in the top 25.

UT Permian Basin at No. 21 Northeastern State — Saturday, 6 PM. UTPB is one of the top vote-getters outside the poll, so this one could flip a ranking.

No. 2 Harding at East Central — Saturday, 3 PM. Both teams are 4-0, and East Central is receiving votes. It’s Harding’s biggest test so far.

The rest of the ranked slate

All times Eastern.
