Sixteen teams, fifteen conference matches each, a full single round robin, and a tournament in Savannah to settle it. Here is the complete SEC volleyball schedule, nonconference included.

How the league works in 2026
Every team plays all fifteen conference opponents once, 120 matches in all, on a Friday and Sunday rhythm with a standalone Wednesday match most weeks. Conference play opens September 23 and ends November 15.
The regular season champion and the tournament champion are separate honors. Kentucky arrives chasing a tenth consecutive regular season title, and the Allstate SEC Volleyball Tournament in Savannah decides who carries the conference’s automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament.
Two dates shape the nonconference slate. Three SEC programs opened the year at the AVCA First Serve showcase at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, and on September 8 and 9 all sixteen members face an ACC opponent in Showdown at the Net, an ESPN Events property.
Five SEC teams carry a national ranking into the opening week: Texas at No. 2, Kentucky at No. 3, Texas A&M at No. 8, Florida at No. 17 and Tennessee at No. 22. The Aggies are the defending national champions.

Allstate SEC Volleyball Tournament
The Allstate SEC Volleyball Tournament runs November 20 to 24 at Enmarket Arena in Savannah, Georgia, the second consecutive year the event has been held there. Opening round matches are Friday, November 20, and the championship match is Tuesday, November 24. The winner takes the conference’s automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. Seeding follows the conference standings from the November 15 finale.

- Texas at Kentucky, September 27. Conference play’s first real measuring stick, in Lexington on ESPN, between two of the three highest ranked teams in the league.
- Louisville at Kentucky, September 20. A nonconference heavyweight on ABC before either team has played a conference match.
- Louisville at Texas, September 6. The Broadway Block Party at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, on ABC at noon.
- Wisconsin at Texas, September 13. Moody Center, on ESPN, one of the biggest nonconference draws of the fall.

SEC volleyball 2026 FAQ
When does SEC volleyball conference play start? September 23, with three conference matches. The conference regular season ends November 15.
How many conference matches does each team play? Fifteen, a full single round robin against every other member. That is 120 conference matches in all.
Is there an SEC volleyball tournament? Yes. The Allstate SEC Volleyball Tournament is November 20 to 24 at Enmarket Arena in Savannah, Georgia. The tournament champion receives the conference’s automatic NCAA bid, and the regular season champion is recognized separately.
When does the season start? August 21, with Kentucky and Texas A&M opening at the AVCA First Serve showcase in Milwaukee. Nonconference play runs through September 23.
What is Showdown at the Net? An ESPN Events property on September 8 and 9 that pairs all sixteen SEC programs against ACC opponents across two nights.
Which SEC teams are ranked? Five carry a national ranking into the opening week: Texas at No. 2, Kentucky at No. 3, Texas A&M at No. 8, Florida at No. 17 and Tennessee at No. 22.
