San Diego holds 50 percent. Portland has 33. SMU has 17. Stanford, Maryland, Georgetown, Vermont, Saint Louis, High Point and Akron are all on zero, and so is dark horse. Eighty three percent of the board belongs to two West Coast Conference schools.
Neither of them plays this week.

Friday is the day
North Carolina and Stanford — The best fixture of the week, and Stanford is one of the eight names on the title board sitting at zero. A result here is the cheapest way for that to change.
Georgetown and High Point — Two title board teams playing each other, both on zero percent. Whatever the room thinks of this championship race, it is not thinking about this match, which is exactly why it is worth twenty points.
Pittsburgh and SMU — SMU is the only team on the board outside the West Coast Conference with any votes at all.
Clemson and Notre Dame — Two of the most decorated programmes in the sport, neither of them on the title board.
Northwestern and Maryland — Maryland is on the board at zero despite a trophy cabinet that says otherwise.
Michigan and Indiana — Indiana has won this tournament more often than any programme in the country and is not on the board at all.

Thursday
NC State and Duke — The Tobacco Road fixture, and the only ranked pairing on the Thursday board.
Loyola Chicago and SIU Edwardsville — A quiet one, and the whole Thursday slate is two matches, so it is an easy forty points.
