When it mattered most, the Patriots didn’t leave a single point on the course. At PGA National Resort in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, Dallas Baptist throttled Anderson (SC) 5-0 in the match-play final to win the 2026 NCAA Division II women’s golf championship — going back-to-back and capturing the program’s fourth title in six years.
This is what a dynasty looks like: not just winning, but winning emphatically.
A repeat that hadn’t been done in a decade
Dallas Baptist is now the first school to repeat as NCAA DII women’s golf national champion since Lynn in 2013-14 — ending a twelve-year stretch in which no program could defend the crown. The Patriots have now stacked titles in 2021, 2023, 2025 and 2026, cementing themselves as the standard of the division under coach Kenny Trapp.
A flawless final
The medal match was over before Anderson could find any rhythm. Sidney Robertson got the Patriots on the board with a 4UP win over Aly Francis, and Gracie Grant blew the doors open with a dominant 13UP victory. Chloe Sirkin tacked on a 5UP win, and then Madison Ude delivered the championship-clinching point with a 3UP triumph. Ella Cheek capped the shutout with a staggering 17UP rout to make it a clean 5-0 sweep.
Five matches, five Patriot points. No drama, just dominance.
Credit to a worthy challenger
Anderson earned its place on that final stage. The Trojans were playing in the national championship match for the first time in program history, having battled through stroke play and semifinal match play to get there — only the second South Atlantic Conference team ever to reach the title match. They simply ran into a buzzsaw.
Still the Patriots’ game
Four titles in six years. The first repeat champion in over a decade. A 5-0 sweep on the sport’s biggest stage. Dallas Baptist came to Palm Beach Gardens to defend a crown and left having made an even bigger statement.
